Beautiful vintage hardcover copy published by Random House, dating from the late-1940s to early-1950s, very close to the original 1947 release. Post-first edition in 1947. Features classic cloth boards, illustrated endpapers, and original Seuss artwork from the early publication period.
This title was officially discontinued in 2021 and is no longer printed, so only original vintage copies like this remain. Early-era editions are highly collectible and increasingly hard to find.
Condition: This is a true 70+ year-old vintage book and shows normal age wear. Cover shows edge and corner wear, back has some marks, spine shows wear but is intact, binding shows age at hinge but pages remain attached. Interior pages intact with great vintage character. Previous owner name written inside. No dust jacket.
